PHILOSOPHY

Abigail creates small batches of photos based on careful consideration during the entire photography process. In both the shooting and editing stages, Abigail considers a number of things that determine whether or not a particular image belongs in a set. Of course the structure of sets is dependent on the type of shoot and how it is broken down between Abigail and the client.

While going through the stages, Abigail values quality over quantity and makes calls based on the overall quality of the photo. This, however, can be considered subjective, so Abigail bases her judgements on a set of guidelines: technical quality, framing, tone, emotion, and sentimental value. Each project’s guidelines are subject to change based off of the individual requirements that the project or the client may have.

THE HUMANITY OF THE MOMENT.”
